Vikki Nunley began her fencing journey under Darren Manchen in 8th grade. Through grit, determination, and an unparalled work ethic she worked from a complete novice all the way up to a silver national medalist by her Senior year. From there she was recruited by the Brandeis University Fencing Team. During her time in college she was coached by both Bill Shipman, as well as Jason and Elif Sachs. By her Junior year of College she was chosen to be the captain of the Brandeis Team as well as representative of team USA in the World University Games. After college Vikki began coaching at Moe Fencing in Boston for 2 years. Vikki is excited to be back where she started her fencing career and wants to share her passion and joy of Fencing to all students at the Academy.
